Having regard to the terms of the Development Plan relevant at the date of compulsory acquisition, negotiate and secure maximum compensation from the Scottish Government to reflect the loss from land taken for motorway improvements and upgrading.

BLUE P & D Solution:

Planning, valuation and development advice to client following service of compulsory purchase order in relation to proposed major road schemes.  Settlement, on behalf of client, of compensation based on development value in the ‘no-scheme world’, but taking account of the planning policy position as at the date of compulsory acquisition.
